So we arrive at the other side, and head straight for the pub, nowhere else to really without a car, it’s a bit isolated, still very hot, so we have a few beers for my last day in Darwin and take some photos of this pub which will be torn down in January to be rebuilt
Now check this out, this is a twisted bit of steel, make that solid steel, this piece probably weighs over 50kg, and this is caused by Cyclone Tracy that absolutly devastated Darwin on Xmas day 1974, don’t know the story behind this particular bit of steel, but clearly, nothing form the building it held up is left over
